Arsenal clinched a possibly crucial 1-0 win against Olympiakos on Thursday night to follow on from their 4-0 thrashing of Newcastle last weekend, and it's clear to see that the team is now reaping the dividends of Mikel Arteta's impact.

The Gunners are unbeaten in nine competitive matches today, winning five of these and putting themselves only seven points adrift of the Premier League top . There's a great deal of work to do, but Arsenal finally look like they're on the ideal track.

Their form in the Emirates has begun to improve too, together with three wins and a draw from their past four aggressive matches allowing them to emerge from a dreadful seven match winless series.

Everton happen to be showing gigantic signs of improvement under the guidance of Carlo Ancelotti, who's managed to pull them clear of the relegation struggle and rocket them to contention for a top ten place. They sit one position above Arsenal and only five supporting 4th place Chelsea.
That said the Toffees have experienced a relatively simple run of fixtures over the past few months. In actuality, seven of their last eight league matches are against bottom half groups, and also the one that was not saw them lose 2-1 in Manchester City.

Everton's record against Arsenal is certainly worth taking into account too. They haven't beaten Arsenal in any of the last 23 Premier League visits, and with the previous one coming back in 1996 in Highbury. 19 of those 23 games have ended in defeat for The Toffees, and contemplating Arsenal's recent improvement we think financing another home triumph here is a fantastic choice.

With Everton averaging 1.23 goals a away game, we believe a 2-1 correct score forecast is the way to go.
